• Led brand foundations and design direction for Borrow’d — a platform for circular, community-powered sharing that addresses overconsumption, waste, and social disconnection; managed a team of three volunteer designers

Slack—March 2024-January 2025
Senior Design Manager, Creative & Brand Team

• Discipline lead for web and interactive, covering a 10-month parental leave
• Managed and mentored six designers (four FTEs, two contractors)
• Provided creative vision and direction for the Slack.com redesign
• Led creative for major product launches including Agentforce in Slack, Slack AI, Slack Lists, Slack Templates, and Salesforce integrations
• Transformed the annual State of Work report from a static PDF into an interactive site — authored the brief, secured agency support, locked in budget and timeline, led creative, and optimized for lead generation
• Partnered cross-functionally with brand, growth, and customer acquisition teams on quarterly planning
• Represented the team and its work in executive reviews and strategic planning conversations


Slack—January-July 2023
Senior Design Manager, Creative & Brand Team

• Covered a 7-month parental leave; managed five designers and illustrators across identity and experiential
• Served as creative lead for Slack’s SXSW super sponsorship — an immersive, city-block activation
• Directed the redesign of the Slack swag store and the launch of the new “Throw Back” collection
• Elevated strategic rigor across the events discipline and refreshed internal critique practices


Dropbox—April 2021-May 2022
Design Director, Brand Studio + Design Systems

• Led a team of six designers and illustrators to implement Dropbox’s visual identity across products
• Design director for a comprehensive visual identity refresh, setting the standard across 10+ products
• Improved brand consistency and recognizability across the end-to-end customer experience
• Bridged brand and product design — delivering logos, icons, illustrations, and product visuals via global Figma libraries and Dropbox Interface Guidelines (DIG)
• Recruited and hired product, visual, and interactive designers, illustrators, and senior design leadership


Dropbox—May 2019-April 2021
Visual Design Lead, Brand Studio + Design Systems

• Directed the design of Dropbox Interface Guidelines (DIG), integrating brand strategy into product
• Codified our brand strategy into tactical tools with examples for product designers and engineers
• Established the token and visual foundations of the design system — including typography, color, spacing, motion, icons, illustrations, and UI components
• Fostered alignment between brand and product through education, relationship-building, and scalable design process
• Championed accessibility and inclusive design across the Dropbox experience


Dropbox—January 2017-May 2019
Senior Interactive Designer, Brand Studio

• Designed interfaces and experiences for Dropbox.com visitors, focused on product education and storytelling
• Led the design of Dropbox Web Guidelines (DWG), the brand’s signed-out web design system
• Supported brand and campaign creative through art direction, image-making, environmental and 
web design
• Helped build and scale the interactive team — hiring contractors, designers, and an interactive lead
• Project highlights include: Dropbox rebrand and launch of dropbox.design


Airbnb—June 2015–October 2016
Digital Designer, Art Department

• Designed for Airbnb’s global brand in the digital realm, including campaign landing pages, digital display ads, and interactive installations.
• Collaborated across teams to ensure a consistent user journey from marketing entry points into the product flow.


Indianapolis Museum of Art—December 2011–May 2015
Senior Digital Graphic Designer, IMA Lab

Designed web, mobile, and digital experiences for the Indianapolis Museum of Art and external museum clients around the world. Took projects from strategy and concept, information architecture and wireframes, to high-fidelity prototypes and user tested interfaces. Tasks ranged from visual design, interaction design, business development, conference presentations, content writing, front-end development, to project management.

Projects included: branding, websites, digital publishing, mobile audio tours, iPad apps, mobile apps, web apps and web graphics.

Integrated Marketing Assistant

Designed all print and web advertisements for 35+ industry publications, websites, and newsletters in the US, Canada, Latin America, and the UK. Responsible for all social media, email marketing, and video production projects. Provided creative direction on production of collateral produced by external vendors.
