Senior Design Manager, Creative & Brand Team
Covered a seven month parental leave. Creative lead for Slack’s SXSW super sponsorship—a city block activation in Austin, TX. Collaborated with the creative team and agency partners to concept and execute the physical activation experience, swag, and digital screens.
Lead creative team and production partners through a redesign of the Slack swag store and new Throw Back swag collection. Revised the team’s critique process and championed a more strategic approach to the events discipline overall. Managed five designers & illustrators.
Dropbox—April 2021-May 2022
Design Director, Brand Studio + Design Systems
Managed a team of six designers and illustrators to strategically implement Dropbox's visual identity system in our products. Helped design direct a comprehensive visual identity refresh, setting the standard for the visual design of Dropbox's 10+ products, as well as improving the scale and recognizability of our brand across our end-to-end customer experience.
Led teams to bridge product and brand design—delivering logos, icons, illustrations and product visuals through global Figma libraries and Dropbox Interface Guidelines (DIG), the set of tools & guidelines product designers and engineers use.
Recruited and hired product, visual, and interactive designers, illustrators and senior design leadership.
Dropbox—May 2019-April 2021
Visual Design Lead, Brand Studio + Design Systems
Lead the design direction for Dropbox Interface Guidelines (DIG), thoughtfully integrating brand strategy and identity in Dropbox products. Codified our brand strategy into tactical application, with examples, for product designers and engineers. Worked with design systems teammates to set the foundation for token (typography, color, spacing, motion) and visuals libraries (icons, illustrations).
Bridged product and brand design through education, relationship building and scalable design process. Championed inclusive design and accessibility for our customers.
Dropbox—January 2017-May 2019
Senior Interactive Designer, Brand Studio
Designed interfaces and experiences for Dropbox.com signed-out visitors; educating users on product benefits and features. Lead the design direction for the brand web design system, Dropbox Web Guidelines (DWG). Supported Dropbox brand and campaign storytelling through art direction, image making, physical space design and web design. Contributed to building out the interactive team—hired contractors, interactive designers and an interactive lead.

Airbnb—June 2015–October 2016
Digital Designer, Art Department
Designed for Airbnb’s global brand in the digital realm. Worked on campaign landing pages, digital display ads and interactive installations. Collaborated across teams to ensure a consistent user journey from marketing entry point into the product flow.
Indianapolis Museum of Art—December 2011–May 2015
Senior Digital Graphic Designer, IMA Lab
Designed web, mobile, and digital experiences for the Indianapolis Museum of Art and external museum clients around the world. Took projects from strategy and concept, information architecture and wireframes, to high-fidelity prototypes and user tested interfaces. Tasks ranged from visual design, interaction design, business development, conference presentations, content writing, front-end development, to project management.
Projects included: branding, websites, digital publishing, mobile audio tours, iPad apps, mobile apps, web apps and web graphics.

Integrated Marketing Assistant
Designed all print and web advertisements for 35+ industry publications, websites, and newsletters in the US, Canada, Latin America, and the UK. Responsible for all social media, email marketing, and video production projects. Provided creative direction on production of collateral produced by external vendors.
